Pressing Render uploads the MIDI file you choose (including every track in an imported file), the instrument you select, render settings, and any optional reference audio you provide. These inputs are processed on midi.audio’s hosted service. Submitted MIDI, selected instrument and uploaded reference audio are retained and may be used to train, evaluate and improve midi.audio’s audio models.
Only submit MIDI and recordings you own or have permission to provide for rendering and model training. Your unrelated DAW projects and files are not uploaded. Nothing is uploaded merely by opening the plugin, selecting a file or reading a DAW track; uploads start when you press Render.
Temporary rendering jobs expire after 24 hours. Training contributions are kept until deletion is requested. Local downloaded audio and cached MIDI stay on your Mac. Authenticated deletion remains available through the service; the included DAW_HANDOFF guide explains how to identify a render and request removal. Removal of stored inputs does not reverse training already completed.
You may use rendered music commercially. This does not grant rights to third-party material in your inputs. The app is free to use; this agreement does not grant permission to resell or redistribute the app or model. The model is hosted and is not included in this installer.
This beta is provided as-is. An internet connection is required. Existing contributions made under earlier terms are governed by those terms; reference audio from earlier releases is not retroactively added to training.
